What we built and why

Teen Patti Magic exists because most Indian gaming apps were built for the desktop player first and the Android player second. We started with the opposite assumption — the player is on an Android phone, on Indian banking rails, and is here to play. Everything from the 75 MB APK size to the OTP-only signup to the unified wallet across all 35 games reflects that single design choice.

The platform launched as a Teen Patti-first card room and expanded into 35 game categories over time. The card games — Teen Patti Master, AK47, Muflis, Pot Blind, Dragon vs Tiger, baccarat, rummy — share the level-matched lobby system, so new accounts don't get cleaned out by stake-range mismatches on day one. The casual games — Aviator, Mines, Andar Bahar, slots, dice tables, lottery draws — round out the library and share the same wallet.

Skill-based gaming and Indian law

Teen Patti and rummy are recognised as games of skill under multiple Indian Supreme Court rulings and a long line of state high-court decisions. As skill-based games, they fall outside the gambling definitions of the Public Gambling Act, 1867 and equivalent state statutes — with state-specific exceptions that we honour by restricting play in seven states (see responsible gaming).

Aviator, Crash, slots and other RNG-based games are governed by skill-gaming framework decisions and the relevant state law. Where state law restricts those categories, we restrict the table to non-prohibited states. The full state-restriction list and the policy framework are detailed on our terms page.

Compliance, KYC and TDS

We're aligned with Indian online-gaming compliance norms. KYC is triggered at withdrawal thresholds in line with platform standards rather than at signup, so new accounts can play without document upload up to a defined monthly cap. Aadhaar, PAN and bank-statement verification are required above the cap.

30% TDS is automatically withheld on net winnings at withdrawal under Section 194BA of the Income Tax Act, 1961, with TDS certificates issued annually for tax filing. The deduction line is visible on every withdrawal summary inside the app.

We built Teen Patti Magic around that small piece of folklore. Every hand on the platform is mathematically fair (RNG verified, provably-fair seeds where applicable), but every player still has a story about the night their luck turned. That's the appeal.
